What We Do

Tamarind Pictures is a film production company based in Karachi, Pakistan. We develop and execute original concepts and stories for the visual medium. We have a number of music videos, short films and documentaries to our credit and have also produced Pakistan's first digital feature film "Raat Chali Hai Jhoom Ke" (a.k.a. "The Long Night") which has been exhbiited at international festivals around the world.

Through our sister concern Tamarind Media, we also assist international film projects shooting in Pakistan.

UPCOMING PROJECTS

Tamarind Pictures is currently in pre-production for a feature film written by Mohammed Hanif and Hasan Zaidi and to be directed by Hasan Zaidi. The film will be released internationally and produced by UK-based Sevy Ali.

Another two feature projects are in development.
